From interior design passion to her own studio
Sanne actually stumbled into the world of interiors by chance. While working in a furniture store, she increasingly received requests to create complete interior design plans. She began taking on these projects alongside her job and quickly discovered how much joy she derived from interiors. Today, she works from her own studio on homes, restaurants, and hotels throughout the Netherlands.
Her style cannot be pigeonholed. At times she works with calm, natural tones, and at others with bold colors and rugged materials. What always remains the same is the starting point: an interior must suit both the person and the space.

How do you style a living room to be both personal and practical?
For any interior design advice, it starts with the people who live there. That is why Sanne always visits clients at home. There, she observes how someone moves through the space, where the light falls, and how the living room is actually used.
An interior can be beautiful, but it must above all work for daily life. Sometimes that means letting go of the standard rules. A layout that seems perfect on paper does not necessarily have to be comfortable in practice. Existing belongings also deserve a place. A vintage find, a piece of furniture with a story, or something you have had for years can actually add character. This is how you create a living room that feels personal, rather than a space that seems like it came straight out of a showroom.
